Bernard Wiseman is much in the way of an actual pilot, most of his scores coming out to just about average. However, despite the scores and the number of times he seems to be destroyed in the simulations, he has some kind of knack for actual combat on the field. He does take his duties seriously though, and is very loyal, even if he does seem to be hesitant to do everything that we might require of him. Outside of battle situations, Bernard is an easy going person and can be a decent undercover unit if needed..
Background Information[]
Bernard is one of the many novice pilots in the employ of Zeon and the Divine Crusade. A spacenoid from outer space, Bernard joined the Zeonic forces and was pushed through their pilot program like many other patriotic young men and women. He passed somewhere slightly above the middle rankings of his class.
There is no grand secret to how he gained access to his machine. They simply lead him into a hanger and pointed him to the rather nondescript Zaku II Kai and pointed him towards the enemy
Personality Traits[]
Bernie is like every other young man and woman that Zeon has rushed through basic training and flung out against their enemies.
He isn't spurred on by any deep loyalties, nor does he have the drive of someone with a secret agenda. He's just another soldier following orders.
Hundreds like him die in nearly every battle, ended without even a second thought
Talents & Abilities[]
Beyond his modest piloting skills and basic soldiering, Bernie does in fact have something of a keen set of skills.
A accomplished mechanic, he is capable of assembling and repairing units he is familier with, even capable of patching together battered machines with the use of spare and salvaged parts along with a little help here and there.
A competent engineer as well, armed with a bit of know-how that endables him to repurpose some munitions and less then mundane objects into booby traps and diversions .
